Trip to Midnight Balloonmeeting, Sotkamo

One trip this summer is to Midnight Balloon Meeting (Vuokatti, Sotkamo, about 480 km from Helsinki). Route nor places to visiting places or overnight places, on the way are not planned.

 #MOObil dearest Berlingo has some new equipment-
Rear ”tent”. I made it from the projector/light net- and magnets.
Its not perfect, because of  far too few magnets. So I need to sew some more, when ever I get more magnets.

And cos theres several MOOs traveling, we have tent next to MOObil.

First night was in Warkaus #Kuntoranta Camping place 

Deasent place, with 27euros you have sauna and spa in the morning.

Summer is here and soon my vacation. 

This year

#Berlingocamper has new look. 

Just waiting to get on the road!

Northern Finland here we come!

Now its time to explore  northern Finland. Google maps is my navigator, and this time I chose the way via Jyväskylä. 

We had change to start our trip at 3 PM after full day, so no way I could drive many hours(even that this daMOO has all help from the #Berlingo). 

So I had good night sleep at #Jyväskylä, on public beach (#Köhniö)  If you ever travel with van here in Finland, and dont want to use official camping places, in some public beaches has toilets, and of course full bathtub.

About the beach; Toilets were quite ok, little full, but there was paper, changeing rooms for take clothes off and yes you can have your swimsuite on. No-one  was there without clothes. I was quite amazed how many people there was, and just drop in to water and then leave. Like common hobby in Jyväskylä. 

I got little swim too and then happy time with netflix in Berlingo and good night sleep❤️. Perfect I can say. 

Hot Air balloons and happy ride

In Lithuenia one stop was Kaunas. 100 #HotAir Balloons Fiesta 100 #OroBallionu Fiesta

We got change to work: Berlingo was good to find right departure and landing places and then I had change to work with getting balloon up and down and packed. Great work and thing to do. I’m in love ❤️.

Once I had a change to get one 1 hour ride, and can you even imagine we landed to field where cows were having their supper 😂. 

Those hot air balloons,  it was like you are not in this world at all, you are in fairytail. From the ground or the sky, happy, beautiful and  soft fairytail. Sounds, air and visual view; you are part of something where you can feel home in the fairytail. MOOism feelings. 

Cow parade

Next stop with cows is Ventspils. Its a small town on the west coast. 

And there is cows- in sculpture form. They have had #cowparade there in 2012.

On the road again!

Boat to Estonia Tallin And right away to Pärnu and .. well Pärnu wasn’t anything to stay for us, so we drove a little bit further... from booking.com there was one hotel about 50 km south. 

And what a great choise that was, cos on our way there was old Kosmonauts holiday centre "Kosmonautika Holiday Centre". It used to be a holiday destination for long-serving cosmonauts. 

And there was some Highland cattle. Lovely ones on windy shore.

Somehow I fell I want to go back there. 

Lebanina hotel has some bungalows.

Basic ones, and cos the weather is so cold and windy- warmer is a life saver.

Price is cheap, breakfast included and so is morning Sauna. 

I think this place can be like heaven in REAL summer time. Sound landscape ❤️ and the view.

Good morning

I had Peaceful night and good sleep and now its time for coffee and news.

My new stove worked perfectly, coffee is good and I can say life is good also.

Todays plan now is that I’m heading to western Finland, again.
